Waiter very knowledgeable and friendly and gave good recommendations for food. Food fresh and delicious and portions massive, waiter did offer to box left over food up which was a nice touch.

The sister restaurant of the hit city centre branch, Bibimbap serves up traditional and fusion Korean fare on Partick Bridge Street. The interior is cheerful, with neon lighting and colourful ceiling umbrellas. The airy glass frontage offers a great view of the buzzy street outside.
Bibimbap’s menu is filled with the kind of hearty rib stickers that will leave you with a warm glow afterwards.
A choice pick is the signature dish of bibimbap, a hot stone pot filled with rice, beef and veg, all topped with a fried egg. Other choices include the kimchi-jigae, a spicy stew simmered with pork and tofu, as well the customer favourite of ‘KFC’ Korean fried chicken.
The table BBQs are a real draw. If you’re never tried it before, two or more people can cook their own spicy pork neck, pork belly slices or la galbi (beef short ribs). The meat is accompanied by lettuce, garlic, chilli, a spicy green onion salad, enoki mushrooms, soybean paste stew and, of course, kimchi. You’ll even get some soju (Korea’s national spirit) to wash it all down with.
Gluten-free and vegan menus are available too, with the potato pancake and sweet potato noodles being two meat-free highlights.
Bibimbap also offers beers from around the world, creative cocktails, wines, lots of spirits, Korean soft drinks and a range of teas.
A stroll away from Kelvinhall underground, Bibimbap is just off Dumbarton Road in one of the West End’s busiest dining hubs. The Cottiers Theatre and Grosvener Cinema are both easy to reach, as is the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. You can find pay parking on nearby Thurso Street.
